What I Learned This Week

1. The Universe does indeed correct itself.

2. Sometimes your nightmares become daymares.

3. MUNI may change my mind.

4. Knowing what is underneath makes it worse.

5. Radiohead.  Another unifying medium.

6. Love is communication.  Communication is love.

7. It is impossible to not giggle when tickling a baby's toes.

8. Strength comes from surprising sources. Love comes from all around.

9. Just keep swimming.  Just keep smiling.  Just keep writing.

10. Concert going will not be part of pre-marathon prep.

11. The hardest things in life are to trust, to have faith, and to forgive.

What I Learned This Week: Delayed Lesson Edition

1. We don’t fit the type.
2. Detours can be inspiring.
3. I should ask questions more.
4. Run-ins can happen anywhere.
5. The past does not always hold answers.
6. My friends make out a lot with each other.
7. “The Moon” is a perfectly acceptable response.
8. No matter how good of directions given, I will be lost.
9. No matter how good of an explanation received, I will be confused.
10. …. Again, some things are just too upsetting for words ….

What I Learned This Week

1. One helps me make sense.  Another makes no sense at all.

2. One half is a delightful source of energy.  Another is a calming source of strength.

3. One evening is full of beautiful wishes and hopes.  Another is a harsh call to my shortcomings.

4. One promise of devotion is from a proved friend.  Another is from the least likely to be sincere.

5. One half of my week was full of beginnings.  Another half was full of beginnings of ends.

Transformation contains both change and stability, plurality and unity, movement and constancy. It has the nature of life, namely, to connect organically the polar opposites, the stumbling blocks of logic, and to unite them in an all embracing rhythm. (Lama Govinda)
