May not be that you are even sad to see it end.  Maybe the evening is a painful one... but what you take away from it you hope to keep close to your heart forever...

How to Be Cruel

1) Tell the Truth.

2) Think that the word Truth deserves to be capitalized at all times.  Like God and Chocolate and Sex.

The Namesake

This is where I give my two-cents and mull over thoughts I have on various liturature I come across and read... because, quite frankly, Buttons doesn't care much for books.  They take up his lapage time with me.  Funny, M felt the same way.

There are books that capture my imagination and attention immediatly.  Then there are others that have to prove themselves worthly as I sit and read them ...

Junapir L almost rythmic prose caught me up in her story instantanously, although I think it was the characters I had a harder time retaining my attention.  The main character, Gogol, irritated me to no end.  Why was this so?  What repelled me from him?

Is it because he is so like me?

Funny how the characteristics that we most dislike in others are the ones we are most blind to in our selves.
